(6/9/2010) Great Concert and Fantastic Season!
Congratulations to all for an excellent performance on Sunday evening. Everyone should feel very proud of having been a part of such a very successful season and to have taken part in an absolutely inspiring final concert.

Best wishes to the Class of 2010. You will be remembered as one of the more outstanding graduating classes in all the years of the River City Youth Brass Band. Your acheivements were great and have helped to set the bar even higher for future groups. Thank you for your consistent leadership and outstanding work.

(4/23/2010) Successful PMEA Concert!
Congratulations to all who performed at the PMEA State In-Service Conference. The performance was excellent and very well-received by all. Five rehearsals remain in prepatation for the June 6th concert at CAPA.

Also, be reminded that world-renowned tuba soloist and breathing guru Patrick Sheridan will be giving a clinic at our rehearsal on May 8th. You will want to make sure to be there that day. The session is open to the public, so invite your friends too!

(4/12/2010) Information Available on PMEA Event
For more information on the upcoming PMEA performances (times, locations, etc.) visit the Performances page. Don't forget there are two rehearsals this weekend. On Saturday, the 17th (9:00 a.m.), we have a regular rehearsal at CMU, and on Sunday, the 18th (6:30 p.m.), we have a special added rehearsal at CAPA downtown.

Please check the rehearsal schedule for the week of April 18th as there has been a change. Two rehearsals were removed and one, on Sunday, April 18th, as been added. Note the location of the rehearsal - at the Creative and Performing Arts High School downtown.

(1/10/2010) Congratulations!
Great job this evening! Certainly given the circumstances of having missed so much rehearsal time, I could not have asked for more from you at tonight's concert. It goes to show what you are capable of when you commit completely to success. Now it is time to get to practicing your music for the upcoming concerts in April and June.
