Below are links to activities which might be of interest to musicians in the River City Youth Brass Band. They range from solo competitions to seminars and master-classes to summer music festivals. If you know of an opportunity, let us know and we'll consider posting it.

Carnegie Mellon Pre-College
The Carnegie Mellon Pre-College is a six-week summer program. Information is available at their website. River City Youth Brass Band musicians, grades 10 through 12 are automatically accepted into the CMU Pre-College. Younger students are also eligible, but may require an audition. Students may decide to participate at a variety of levels attending as full-time living on-campus, full-time commuter and part-time (as "Clinic" students or choosing courses a la carte).

Luzerne Music Festival
Auditions for the Luzerne Music Festival will be held at CMU on April 10th, 2010. More information may be found here.
